INFORMATION + EXPERIENCE
Helping determine what the site needed to communicate and how it should be organized.
THE PROJECTTURNING THE IDEA INTO A SITE.
CITE needed a website that could clearly introduce the organization, explain its work, and give people a straightforward way to understand where they fit within that mission.
I helped determine what pages and content the site needed, then translated that structure into a finished Squarespace website.
MY ROLEFROM BRAND HANDOFF TO WEBSITE BUILD.
The visual identity came from a designer I connected the client with. Once the logo and brand colors were established, I used that foundation to structure and build the website in Squarespace.

The site needed to balance a broad mission with multiple areas of work, while still giving visitors a clear path through the information.

STRUCTURE + CONTENTFIGURING OUT WHAT NEEDED TO BE THERE.
Before building, I helped the client think through what visitors needed to understand, which pages were necessary, and how the site's content should be organized.
The goal was to create a structure that could support the organization's work without making visitors work too hard to find their way around it.
BRAND + DIGITALBUILDING ON AN IDENTITY THAT WAS ALREADY THERE.
The logo and brand colors were developed by the designer I connected the client with. I carried that visual foundation into the Squarespace build, using it to shape the site's hierarchy, pages, and overall digital experience.
TAKEAWAYA GOOD WEBSITE STARTS BEFORE THE WEBSITE.
The build was only part of the work. Helping define the structure first made it possible to turn the organization's ideas and information into a website people could actually navigate.
